In addition to being a trained Yoga Instructor, I hold an active Japanese nursing license.  Also, I have Reiki certificate. 

I am skilled at applying my knowledge and experience from many years of hands-on nursing to my teaching of Yoga to insure that individuals practice and learn Yoga in the safest method possible.  

 

 

  • I believe that yoga can help us to connect our body and our hearts, and lead us to live a better life. In my yoga classes, you will find that:

  • My teaching approach is to assist and help the students so they experience physical relaxation and stress release through yoga and meditation.

  • I am skilled and experienced in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative Yoga techniques.

  • I work well with all experience levels. I am an understanding and compassionate teacher. 

  •  I am also experienced in and happy to customize programs to individual and/or group skill level's.     

  • Only with clients' permission, I occasionally put my hands  on their body to help them calm their mind, and body,  balancing their immune system, and healing their body.

"Kokoro" is a Japanese word that means calm heart, calm spirit, gentleness and kindness. By working with me to develop your skills, in Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, along with other yoga poses and techniques such as Restorative yoga. My goal is to be able to help you achieve more than you thought possible, and to teach you principles that will enable you to live a happy,  healthy and long life.  I want to use yoga to help you in living your life with "Kokoro" (calm heart, spirit, compassion, and kindness).
